Haua Fteah Cave
Haua Fteah Cave is part of the Tentative list of Libya in order to qualify for inclusion in the World Heritage List.
The Haua Fteah Cave is important in the research on North African archaeological history and anatomically modern human prehistory. Remains have been found that show the initial colonisation of the region by Homo sapiens. The excavated layers have also delivered many artefacts such as flakes and blades.
